The countdown has begun! From August 27th to 31st, 2025, Caldas da Rainha transforms into a vibrant stage of flavors, music, and culture at FRUTOS 2025. Held in the stunning Parque D. Carlos I, the festival brings together the best of horticulture, gastronomy, and live performances in Portugal.

Whether you come for the concerts, the food, or the family atmosphere, FRUTOS is an unmissable summer celebration. šŸŒæšŸŽšŸŽ¶

Every year, at the end of August, D. Carlos I Park in Caldas da Rainha fills with life, color, and aromas to celebrate FRUTOS – the National Fruit and Vegetable Fair. This year, from August 27th to 31st, the city once again hosts one of the most iconic events in the Western region. And I'm already counting the days until I can go back!

Where the Earth Comes to Life

FRUTOS 2025 brings together more than 160 exhibitors, offering a true showcase of the best in Portuguese fruit and vegetable production. From fresh fruit to processed products, including agricultural innovation projects, this fair is an invitation to experience firsthand the flavors and creativity that characterize our Western region.

It's also a unique opportunity to speak directly with producers, discover new developments, and even take home some of the region's carefully cultivated produce.

Music, Culture and Inclusion

But FRUTOS goes far beyond the land. The cultural program promises unforgettable nights:

  • Concerts by big names like JoĆ£o Pedro Pais, Richie Campbell, David Fonseca, and Sara Correia.

  • Different spaces for each environment: the Catering Stage (free access), the Concert Space with Main Stage, and DJ Stage (ticket required).

  • Accessibility is guaranteed, with concerts performed in Portuguese Sign Language, reinforcing the festival's inclusive nature.

  • Roaming entertainment, daily from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, adds rhythm and color to the Park even before the big shows.

Creative Gastronomy and Unique Experiences

At Casa dos Barcos, by the lake, the highly anticipated showcooking events will take place from August 28th to 31st. Chefs and creative projects will present mouth-watering proposals:

  • Organic Energy Balls

  • Wine Tart

  • 100% Organic Recipes

  • And much more…

Additionally, the fair invites you to participate in ā€œHands-Onā€ workshops, fun experiences for the whole family, and even a Giant Fruit Box, designed to stimulate the senses and spark the curiosity of children and adults alike.

The Soul of Caldas da Rainha

Visiting FRUTOS also means immersing yourself in the identity of Caldas da Rainha—a city known for its Mercado da PraƧa da Fruta, Portugal's only daily open-air market, active since the 19th century. This historic connection between the city and horticulture is felt in every corner of Parque D. Carlos I during the fair.

A Personal Invitation

What excites me most about FRUTOS 2025 is that it's much more than an event: it's a celebration of the land, traditions, and community. I enjoy browsing the exhibitors and discovering new products, trying unexpected flavors by the lake, and ending the day with a great concert under the stars.

If you're looking for an experience that combines music, gastronomy, culture, and nature, then mark your calendar now: from August 27th to 31st, all roads lead to Parque D. Carlos I, in Caldas da Rainha.

See you there? šŸŽšŸŽ¶šŸŒæ
