How to get to Óbidos from Villa’s Pomar do Moinho

Staying at Villa’s Pomar do Moinho and want to visit the Óbidos Christmas Village or the historic center? Good news: you're just a 5-minute drive from the heart of the walled village!

📍 Distance:

Approximately 4.5 km separate our property from the center of Óbidos.

🚗 By car:

Simply take the N114 towards Óbidos. The trip is short, easy, and scenic—in a few minutes you'll be entering through the famous Porta da Vila, the main entrance to the medieval village.

🅿️ Parking:

There are several parking options, both free and paid, in the car parks outside the walls. During events like the Christmas Village, it's recommended to arrive early to secure a spot.

🚶 On foot:

For the more adventurous and nature lovers, it's possible to do the route on foot, in a walk of about 45 to 50 minutes. Along the way you can enjoy rural views, tranquil trails and the typical landscape of the Western region — a beautiful way to start (or end) the day calmly and connected with nature.
